Any Mobile Stagecoach coop owners?

Don't know anything about the coop but here is a cheap feeder. 5 gallon bucket with two 90degree elbows cut so they are a1/2 inch off the bottom of the bucket it works great and holds about a month's worth of food for me.

Pretty cool Jetdog! 5-gallon bucket filled from the top and then the top snapped back on -- hole cut and elbows - do the chickens stick their head IN the hole? How many chickens can go for a month on that? I'm feeding 4 right now - and they turn up their little noses (beaks) if it is 1-day stale...they are soooo fussy.

This is one of the best bucket type feeders I've seen. Being a plumber I'm all about using pipe fittings in any way possible and your design is great!

I have 4 hens and they stick their heads in the hole and eat without spilling the food everywhere, I just put a little food on the edges of the elbow so they could see it and they were eating in less than 5 minutes.

I know this is an old thread but here's mine we finished last weekend. Took a lot of work and time to build this!
Here is the rear view

Made it so that the back bottom door has a door inset that folds down and lined with hardware cloth. Sort of a window but wanted good ventilation into the tractor on these hot summer days.

Here's my favorite mod to the coop!! The top opens up and is held up with a hook and eye. The base of the nest box is held closed with a hook and eye on each side on the inside of the nest boxes. Unhook them and the nest box folds Down. I had 14x11" trays that lift out so bedding isn't dumped out all over the place. My roost floor does not fold down it is a permanent floor and right now using pine bedding but want to try pdz at least once.

Right now just two banty pullets in there but have four standards of various breeds in the brooder for it. Plan to move daily. Foxes, Hawks, vultures, coyotes, coons and possums are a major problem here. So they probably won't get any free range time. The coop seems to be very secure. Time will tell.
