Out of the 6 Coveys I started with....2 have decided to stay here, and nest. Here is Salty..the drake..and Mrs Thang..the hen

She is currently setting on about 21 to 25 eggs.

Anyone going to need a few Coveys in about 3 weeks?? LOL

This is one of the 3 Drakes...

Top right..Salty...middle..Pepper...bottom...Elvis. Elvis and Pepper flew the coop, with the other 2 Hens. I know where they are, about 1/2 mile from home, setting on nests.

We ordered 6 ducklings online. Not sure when they will come in, but I never could find any close by. I am curious how they ship them. They are supposed to come U.S. Mail! I hope they get along with guineas also. I ordered some of them thru the local feed store that are arriving after easter. Hopefully they get here about the same time.
Reckon I'll have any fighting between them?

Moscoveys are great. By the way, can they look like anything? I mean when they're ducklings, can they have strange markings? We have 4 new ducklings, and we don't know what kind two of them are. I have a post on "Other Poultry", and I'm going to upload some pics of them soon.
Can you tell me if they're Moscoveys?

We have a muscovy that visits us and loves to eat dry cat food, layer pellets and the bird seed in the bird feeder. We call him Huey because when he flies over us he sounds like a Huey helicopter!
