As a couple of others have said, if your drakes are mules, the eggs will not be fertilized.

Good morning, and welcome to BYC. In my experience mules have always been sterile. I would candle the eggs just in case and then toss if not developing.

I have mule drakes and they mated with my muscovy hen...now she is sitting on eggs. I ate some of her eggs before and thought they could be fertile, but I don't know for sure ( I am a newbie)!

So I am just wondering if there will be any ducklings from this? I know the odds are low. And does she give up the eggs herself if they are infertile?
