Any Of You Ever lived In A Haunted House?

What a sweet story. I hope that when I lose someone close to me they contact me the same way.

Fairly harmless meaning shy, usually stay hidden, people don't see them very often. Not any kind of prankster energy.

I feel so much better..maybe I won't be so scared now when I go out there at night!

I was so broken up when my grandfather died that I was beyond miserable. I had a dream where he came to tell he was fine and that he could 'dance like Fred Astaire.'
That was so like him. He had a straw pork pie hat and a cane and was swinging in the air. I felt so much better.
Dreams help us heal.

When I was little, I lived with my grandparents and my room was upstairs. The house was over 200 yrs old. There had been a man MURDERED in my room!!!! Everynight, I had to ask him if it was ok to go to bed yet or did he need company. We always left the light on for him cuz he was scared.... One night, after my now hubby moved it with us... HE SHUT THE LIGHT OFF... next thing I knew, my curtains were ON FIRE!!!! I mean, scary, purple, green and blue fire... creaped my hubby out AHAHAHA... I said OMG.. you didnt leave Donald on (my night light) he's like no I can't sleep... well, let me tell you... HE LEFT IT ON from that night on.... Even now, when we go home to visit, Donald is still there... still on... The man still lets us know he's around... My grams homemade biscuits come up missin from the fridge all the time!!! and there will be bites of pie taken LOLOL She gets so mad at him LOL

Now in the house we life at now...

(sorry to hijack here)

The "guest" isnt from this house... He is my lil bro...

When I was a little over a yr old, my mom had a boy and he died shortly after being born... It became a tradition, no matter where we were, to have a Bday cake just for Little John... To this day.. even moving 800 miles from PA, I have had a bday cake purchased just for him with a slice of cake, fork, napkin and all sitting on the table for him to get as he wishes.... Last year... I set the plate down and the fork and said "Ok Little John... come and get it!" I turned my back and heard a noise.. turned back around and saw the fork FLOATING in the air with a bite of cake on it.. the bite disappeared and the fork was sat back down... I then felt a soft, sweet breeze on my neck (a thank you I guess)... Made my day!!!

His Bday is Oct 29... he would have been 30.....

Well the scariest thing I have ever had happen is with an alarm clock radio. It would always turn on and off by itself. One day I came in and it was playing loud staticy noise when I got closer it was saying die die so I unplugged it and it still didn't turn off. Needless to say I high tailed it out of there! It still gives me heebie jeebies thinking about it

Ok, I have another.

At the same friends house as I mentioned before, they were having problems with someone letting their horses out and in. They ended up getting a security monitor, the tv was set up in the kitchen. We had a guess on who it might be..the neighbors daughter. So one day after school let out, we watched to see who is doing it. Well, I kid you not, something walked out of the barn, turned right back around and went back in. It was not a person or animal. My friend and I just looked at each other and looked out the window. The horses then walked out and into their pasture

I have to say we were not surprised, we often heard someone walking up in the hay loft...sounded like someone with boots, no one was up there. We were used to that.

We bought our house in 1996. If you laid awake a night you heard the creaks and noises of an old house settling. In 1999 my brother in law passed rather sudden. When he was alive he would come over almost every Saturday to have a few drinks and to past the afternoon. Since he has passed not all Saturday afternoons but alot of the time the back door will open suddenly and we always say," Come in Jim we were expecting you."
