Just wondered if any of you had.
 
I do right now and the old man is driving me nuts. He loves to play around with my stove while I am cooking. I don't cook pancakes anymore cuz of it! I put my burner on a PERFECT setting but when I turn my back for a lil bit, turn back to the stove, it's on IGNITE! A real pain in the but.

My son even says he doesn't like to sleep in his bedroom cuz "The man in his bed" keeps waking him up at night. I never seen him but I know he is there and he is one horrible prankster.

Yup, do a search for the thread "Ghost stories". Quite a few stories from myself and others, over 5-6, maybe even 8 pages.. It has been dead a few months.
 
My house is haunted by a cookie bandit. Whenever I make cookies, they mysteriously start vanishing between about 3 and 4 am. And then this capricious creature of the ethereal spreads cookie crumbs on my husband's side of the bed.
 
I live in one, although I figured out how to appease the ghost, spirit or whatever. When I bought the house there was a small bedroom upstairs that was locked. I bought the house the same day because it was such an awesome deal and I got cash discount

Well after a couple of months living there (not even having used any of the upstairs at all) I finally decided to pick the lock and see what was up there.

Blood and gore splatters all over the place, the hardwood was stained with what looked fresh(er) and older bloodstains. In the middle of a pile of bloody clothes was an old wood axe that was literally gore covered.

Cops called, nobody knew anything, the owners of the house knew nothing cause the house had been vacant for years before they listed it (summer house). Investigation turned up nothing.

Anyways, if you take the axe out of the room stuff happens. If you leave the axe in the room, nothing goes on. But when things go bump in the night when the axe is out of there, it really bumps hard and scary.

Finally buried the axe in the wall behind new drywall after I remodeled, and it was enough to appease the spirits. Taped to the axe is a note in a ziploc baggie telling the story of the room and where I was to that point.

I could write for pages and pages, but I don't want to hi-jack this thread.





ETA - Since the remodel the room is still referred to as the blood room

no joke. I was a non believer at first until one night while alone in the bath tub (shower wasn't working yet) watched the door handle rattle back and forth then the door get kicked open.
 
Boyd - You've got to start a new thread and tell us all of your stories. I love hearing about first-hand experiences.

I worked in a haunted place for a couple of years. It was a historical house turned into two offices. Small things like keys would disappear and reappear a short time later. I walked around a corner and saw out the window, the dog my boss was caring for, was about 5+ feet in the air, laying on it's side and then thrown down onto the ground. I did not like arriving or leaving there when it was dark and I don't spoke easily.

When my kids were in preschool they used to have an invisible playmate they called "Tall Man". Not really a playmate, but he would talk to them. I went to take my kids to preschool one day and there were police cars all over the alleyway. Turned out there had been a murder awhile back and the man had been buried in a yard just across the alley from the preschool playground. The kids never mentioned TM after that.

I had other experiences with things (not necessarily ghosts) at my parent's and my grandma's houses, but that might get a little lengthy.
