When we are done with the army and retiring in Ky i will get me a emu or two. I want a farm /petting zoo with animals that are rather unusual...

On a serious note, I know gas is outrageous. That's why we bought ourselves new bikes and trailers to go with them

You could feed an army with some KFO (Kentucky Fried Ostrich)
 
Did you read about it. "Each Ostrich will lay up to 60 eggs a year if they are constantly taken away from the nest site. Each egg is the equivilent of 24 size (A) normal hen eggs."

All of the ostrich eggs that Ive had, all weight about 3 lbs each, makes lots of scrabled eggs......................
