I am in Putnam Co. I have been reduced to 3 chickens. Started with 42. Hatched a whole bunch. Bought about 30 or so silkies. But the varmits, bobcats, coyotes and others have wiped me out.

Plan on getting more next spring. I have to wait until I finish Nursing school.

Did any of you see the message about starting a Pet Chickens of WV? The site in VA was offering to help. That would be nice if we have enough people interested and someone that would like to talk it up. Just a thought.
A meet would be nice.
