We use to have a Black one with a white star.... After having her for a few years, she started acting weird, bucking ppl off. And ya. We gave her to a cowboy.

I love Appys. I have one right now that is 29 and the biggest brat. She's every ounce Appy. From what I've read and heard she's got great lines. She has that normal Appy I can and will be naughty and make you laugh so you won't be mad attidue[sp]

We have four Appy's where I board, one is a rescue, the other is a mare waiting to be broke. and two are older mares that are boarded.
Here is Jetta, she is roaning out as her sire and grand sires are all white wash/ roan varnish.
She is a grulla appy

This is Frosty (RIP) she was in her mid 30's when she passed on

Apps will always be my favorite horse. I don't guess I will ever own another though due to a very bad experience that left a nasty taste in my mouth.


Edited to say, I had originally told the story of the above ordeal in this post but then I realized, if I posted that, it would make me no better than the person who screwed me over so, I deleted it.
I feel so much better now, liberated almost to come to that realization

I can get on with my life and leave that in the past.

A lot of people who own them still don't know about Chief Joseph's connection, which always shocks me. Then again I know more about him that I do any breed of horse, so there ya go.

More picks people! I need to see that one that I have always dreamed of owning and although I would take them all I want to see if he's really out there. Yes I have dreamed about one in particular since I was a little girl and now I have grand children and still day dream about him.

Dinamite is a tri color leopard appy and a Red Plaudit grandson He is 27 years old(!!) One year younger than me and he's been in the family for 26 years.
