Any ONE grain that is sufficient?

I am concerned about the black beans. Uncooked beans are a problem for poultry. Otherwise yes, you could add the missing ingredients Kelp, minerals, probiotics, and amino acid methionine (Could add fish meal for that or BOSS)
As far as it being too fine, you could add it to dampened whole grains or smashed fruits to have it stick.

Interesting.... I did a quick google search on "black beans and anti nutrient" and did not come up with anything definitive.

I thought all beans have the anti nutrient until soaked/cooked/roasted/sprouted.... BUT I may be wrong..

AS a kid on the dairy farm, my job was to feed the chickens. They got whole wheat, oats, corn, and a mash that was ground on the farm as a dairy ration: corn, oats, malt, toasted soybeans and a bag of minerals. Plus they were our garbage disposal for the farm garden surplus.
I assume my parents had a clue about chicken nutrition because they had a commercial laying flock in the '40s. The chickens were healthy, laid plenty of eggs and lasted quite a few years. They were not free ranged, but had a large oldfashioned chicken house with plenty of room.
