Any one in NY or PA use mulch in their run?

I've seen a lot of people say they've used this. So im curious if anyone uses non treated non colored mulch.

I'm in New York.
I don't use landscape quality mulch but I use the mulch that is offered free to residents that results from the chipping and shredding of branches that are left curbside and are collected by the local highway departments. It works just fine.

That's good to know. We were thinking of getting a small chipper. You have a nice run.

I’m in Northeastern PA. I use the wood chips left behind when we had a bunch of oaks cut down on our property.

I’ve also used undyed pine bark nuggets from Home Depot in their temporary run a few years ago.

Both options work well for me.
