My hens started to molt in sept of last year...it took them about 7 weeks. After that we had about 3weeks where the hens were laying eggs and then stopped. it is now march and still nothing. we have reguarlrey worm them, set a timer in the coop so they have over 14 hours of light. I have spoken to our local feed guys to see if the have change any thing ...they have not. we have ruff rock's and or winter layers. i know that the weather has been really strange this winter....(it's march and 80 out side in southwestern kansas) but now there starting to molt again!!!! is any one else going through this?
