Any one near Limon CO?

Hello all you Colorado people. I had a friend just move to Limon and they are thinking about getting chickens. I told them I would check with my BYC friends and see if they had any extras they wanted to get rid of. Let me know, and I will work something out with you. They were our praise and worship leaders before they moved. They just got down there on Monday AM. Thanks for all your help in advance.

Oh my gosh I used to live near there in a very very very small town called Agate. I would love to move back one day. At least visit. Limon is really in the boondocks so I think they would be ok.

You think that's the boondocks? You should come up to South Dakota and see where we live. We live 120 miles from major city to the north and 200 miles south west of us. Have to travel to get anywhere here.

I'm not in CO, but a friend of mine is. They just moved there. Do you have any extra chickens or chicks that we could get them? The family misses the farm fresh eggs if you have any, pm me and we can workd something out.

I'm in Wray--sort of --Laird actually, but Limon is only about 2 hours away. There are lots of places to get chickens out here. Check the local Ace Hardware/Quality Farm & Ranch Center in Limon--they can order just about any kind of chick you want and they will also know who in the area has chickens. Also check with any other feed stores in the area. Other than that, the easiest thing I can think of other than that is to put up a few flyers (at the grocery store, feed store and anywhere else) asking for what they want. Good luck and tell them "Welcome to Eastern Colorado!"

It's kinda funny, but he wants chickens, and she don't. She wants the farm fresh eggs. I've spoiled her with mine. I've told her to ask around at church, and different places.
