any one order turkey from ideal???

I only got BBW from them... one dead on arrival (dead and very smelly), the rest were sick and most died over the next few weeks. Was going to send one to the state lab for a necropsy (which would have cost $50), but they wanted a 'fresh dead' and I only had two left. They did refund at least part of the money eventually...

we split an order with a buddy and all was well. GREAT BR's - our tom is divine. and the BBW's were very tasty.

I get 99% of all my poultry from Mcmurray and I have never receved a dead chick or duck ect an I order once a yr and and sometimes twice..The chicks are always nice and the cochins are always so plump. Just my opinion. Now I have ordered off a few other hatcherys all was good none dead but the chicks dont look as well as mcmurrays.

They were a tasty 30+lbs each dressed at 5 months old.

ordered turkeys from Ideal the last 3 yrs usually I loose 1 in shipment they always refunded immed. Baby turkeys are very fragile and until a mo or so can die at a drop of a hat...... The toms from this yr maxed out at 45 lbs live at 8 mo of age and were shown at an APA show and got best and reserve youth turkeys with a very large class

I ordered Bourbon Reds from Ideal last year...all arrived dead except for one, and that one died a day later. They refunded my money no problem. This year I ordered from McMurray.
