Any one use something besides a SMALL kiddie pool for swimming?

Can anyone post a pic of a black 'mortar/cement mixing tub' you use for pool?

Also how about a pic of the 'Rubbermaid tub' with the spout in it?

I am a picture freak--very valuable for all.

Where did you acquire. Walmart----hardware stores probably??

i use a horse water trough. Not a tall one tho . It is only about a foot and a half tall, so i have to use a few cement blocks that they step on to get in the trough. They really like it

EEEK! Speaking of horse water troughs, do I have to worry about any ducks/geese I get fowling my horse trough? It is the typical galvanized one, about 30 inches tall, an oval that holds 100 gallons.

Thanks.

We got one of those at a moving sale for $5 and it was basically new. We also have another similar to it that has a slide built in and the ducks love it.
For the winter I got some rubber tubs from the feed store. They are the kind that people use for hogs or horses. They work great in the winter because when they are solid ice it just pops out with alittle nudging on the sides.

probably..

what you have to watch out for with deep containers of any kind is low water level. try to keep the container full so that a duck can swim out.. many a duck has drowned because they could not get out of a partially filled tank..

We have a huge pond that 12 of my ducks swim in, and they also have a kiddie pool. The other 2 aren't allowed in teh pond so instead they have a kiddie pool, bathtub, and some plastic bins. They don't really like the kiddie pool much and mostly prefer taking showers with me..
