Any one want to join me in waiting for eggs, posting and comparing notes?

Still waiting on eggs. I've had the egg talk and tried a different approach and told them they don't need to lay yet, I bought eggs at the store. They just look at me funny. Love my girls though they are spoiled rotten.
one of my EE looks like she may be the first to lay, and she gets bred by the rooster daily.

Hi gmyers..... Nice to see you here! yes, those roosters seem go know exactly when that is coming. I have 2 Black Australorps. One matured far earlier than the other. My roo is constantly mounting the one who is laying, i think she is his favorite, he is horrible! Any way,,, he never even looked at the other BA. Well,, right before she laid her first egg, the mounting of her began. I think roosters must obviously be quite aware of eggs coming!

Brooster, Iswear,, if I had that sitting in my house, watching that hatch, I just might fall over with excitement. That is the cutest darn chick I have ever seen. Congratulations! I have a million questions...remind us again what kind of eggs are in the bator? I am sorry I don't remember. Are they a mix of some of your own, and shipped eggs? Breeds?

Yes that's what I was telling my DH, maybe that's a sign she's close to laying. I expected the EE to lay last from what I've read. I have BO, NH,and SLW oh also 1blue silkie. These are all 19and 1/2 weeks. Then I have 8 chicks my DH bought me for Valentine's day

Wow,, nice selectionn there. I am silently planning my next flock, I want some color in my egg basket. Mine laid at 25 weeks, but it was New Years Eve, and there is far longer sunlight hours now. You'll have eggs before too long! What are the 8 chicks breed?

Oh WOW.... That is so CUTE! I think you said that they are EE when you put them in...

OK... I am just about finished packing. A friend of mine and I are going on a short trip. It is my family reunion vacation. My friend is going so I don't kill the some of my cousins We are going on just a short trip. 4 days south to Ensanada and back to LA... yes it is Carnival cruse line. If you have not heard they have been having a little trouble with some of their ships. We will be on the ship called 'Inspiration'. I am sure it will be just fine and we will be back safe and sound. A few days to relax then come home for the rest of spring break. But at least away from home I should relax and not do the million things I know should get done Anyway... I will be thinking of all of you ... Good luck on eggs... I can't wait to see the rest of this hatch Brooster and I will be back on Monday to catch up on all the gossip.
