Any one want to join me in waiting for eggs, posting and comparing notes?

I found our first and second eggs 1 week ago today and I'm up to 3 eggs. I haven't gotten an egg since Tuesday morning :-( I sold a couple pullets to a friend from my oldest group and both of her EE's are laying almost everyday. It burns me up because I haven't gotten an EE egg yet.

I give my birds lots of scraps and also raw organic yogurt every other day. Yes they follow me around but I think it's cute, right now. Lol! I also offer oyster shell or ground egg shell all the time

@lisachick1 I think your orps look close, based on wattles and combs but I think the brahama in the back ground isn't quite there. I'll try and sneak a pic of mine that's laying so you can see the difference.

I hesitate writing this as the wait was terrible and I feel bad for others who are still waiting, but one of our four hens laid their first egg today. Exciting stuff!! I would post a pic but not sure how.
OH HOW AWESOME! Super exciting. Who laid it, and how old is the girl who laid it. I am waiting on three 22 week olds to give me some eggs. I think I have a bit longer to go.

Do you see the long rectangular box above where u type a new message? Its to the left of the smiley face. You will see a square with a landscape scene in it. Click that and you can follow prompts to upload any photo you have on your computer. If you took the picture with a smartphone you can upload from there too!

We got our 4th egg today. Right now I'm getting an egg every 4 days

My poor girls are molting right now, so they are not laying nearly as much as they were. I was getting about a dozen a day, now it's down to 3-4 a day. I don't mind, it's just crazy how much it can take out of them to grow new feathers!

I stop feeding layer feed when the molting starts, and bump up to Game Bird feed with the higher protein. Someone also told me they love the Nutrena Feather Fixer feed to get their flock through molt. Also it's important to not handle the birds unless absolutely necessary as new pin feathers are apparently quite painful when they come in....
