I am new to BYC and after playing around with the site I am very impressed, and wished i had joined sooner. I am excited to talk and learn from you all, I have a small mixed flock, of chickens that i have taken in over the past few years, my newest birds are a GLP,and a Roo that Im unsure of his breed but he is of the crested variety, i am looking into focusing on a single breed to breed, sale and show here in good ol Kentucky, is there any ky folks on here that can give me any guidance on cold and heat hardy breeds that are easy to get into showing.
