Congratulations

Talking it out is always the best. If you held it in, the resentment would grow out of control.
I'm happy for you both and Its going to go by faster than you think

Now you know how men feel? Nah... now you know how a working mom & wife feels. I've been married just about 15 years now, I'm over 18 years younger than DH and I've still made more than he has for most of our marriage. He works a good, steady job, but whenever things got rough, I got a raise, a bonus or moved to a higher paying job, sometimes I even got a small second job. I would always laugh when the SAHM's in the family would complain how busy they were, I did everything they did, plus work full-time, go to school part-time, teach and dance, I just got less sleep.

You do what you've got to do, to get it done. It's that simple. You have your pity party- table for one moments, rant to your favorite shoulder, suck it up and keep on going. By your actions, you are teaching your kids valuable lessons, work hard for what matters and work as a team with your spouse.

You are awesome and you are allowed your feelings, they're neither right nor wrong, but do communicate with your DH about them.
