I have a little d'uccle roo who was injured by his brother who thought he was a 'she'. He is unable to stand, but has use of both legs and will kick and grip my fingers. He's been lying around and I want to try to get him back on his feet. Has anyone done anything like this in the past and if so, how did you go about it? He's eating like crazy, 'talking' to me, and otherwise seems great. Vet thinks it is a tendon issue. I'm just not ready to give up on the little guy - he's battling. Thanks for any thoughts / ideas you might have.

I would be looking for either something caught in its foot feathers or a broken blood feather on the leg in question. We had a busted blood feather on our mille d'uccle and he would stand on one leg all the time with the other one lifted. It must have been quite painful for him and it lasted for about a week.
