I’ve tried to do as much research as possible with these breeds, I didn’t see any trouble spots, but checking in with more experienced chicken owners. These are our nine:

2 x Light Brahmas
2 x Bernevelders
2 x Speckled Sussex
1 x Plymouth Barred Rock
1 x silver laced Wyandotte
1 x Olive Egger

I've never had an issue with mixed flocks. The pecking order will be established and you should be just fine as long as you have lots of space for your girls. Mixed flocks are great!

With the exception of one flock of 30 Buff Orpingtons that I had about 16 years ago, I have always kept mixed flocks with no issues. I do like to keep bantams and larger breeds separated from each other though.

Mine are all together even the turkeys
