Any Rabbit Breeders/Owners Here at BYC?

Rabbits should never be with chickens in my opinion.
I personally don’t think so either but my mom thinks it’s better to keep them outside because she thinks it’s cruel for them to be kept indoors. Our chicken run is definitely big enough for them but it’s hard because the chickens need to lay eggs and they have food and water in there and their coop is in there. It’s the only secure place we have outdoors therefore my mom keeps them in there.

Since the buck and doe stay together, that's normal for him to mark his territory.
I would normally tell you not to neuter him, but since they're living together, you kinda have to. Do not spay her if you are going to neuter him.
Just curious why do you say that? because I know female rabbits have a high chance of getting cancer.

Okay. Maybe you could buy an outside hutch for them?

Also we are currently keeping them indoors because it’s too cold for them outside they’re in the office but when we do leave we have to keep them in a small cage which is why I was thinking of buying a dog exercise pen instead. But they have chewed a corner of the carpet... 😬

Good. If they have other stuff to chew on, they shouldn't chew on the carpet. Do they have toys and uncured wood to chew on?
They're just too cute!:love

Because it's unnatural and bad for her. And no, they do not have a high chance of getting cancer. :D
Are these your first bunnies by chance?
Yes, I think you can tell! 😂 Also, yes I do watch Lennon the Bunny which convinced my dad to let them partly stay inside . He just doesn’t like their hair and he thinks they smell which I know is not true.

I would rather keep them inside how can we keep them inside in a way that they can’t be destructive and where would you think we should keep them like in my bedroom or in the living room?
It's honestly up to you when it comes to where to keeping them. If it was up to me, I'd keep them in my bedroom.

They actually have a couple wooden chew toys but I do need to buy more. Also they eat all the fallen leaves off my mom‘s plants! Is that OK for them to eat?
