Any replacements for bird netting?

It's ok, we picked up our two bushes in fall for free, the other one came from my better half's colleague, we split up a bush that was growing too big in her yard. The other one we found online, when picking it up is was big, but looked like it was dying. We honestly didn't have much hope for either, but they seem to have taken well to the move. Especially the one that looked like it was dying made nice healthy leaves, and is producing loads of berries. The split one will still need some time, but it's growing loads of new branches, so I think it's going to turn out nicely too.
