Any Silkie breeders?

For the life of me I cant get any silkie breeders to contact me back, I have e-mailed at least seven and called two now

All i want is a little pet/possible show Silkie...
I have done the research and I have fallen in love with the walking snow balls.
So! If anyone knows of any one that would be kind enough to talk to me, would you please give me there information?

Wow, I'm surprised. Most of us Silkie breeders can't wait to take about our birds. Where exactly do you live, do you want chicks, adults or eggs? I have a silkie egg auction going now.

I live In West Brookfield MA to be exact. I was hoping to either get chicks or an adult. A hen preferably, since there such good mothers so i am told. That an my mother refuses to have more then one rooster. Shes Anti rooster...
I dont want to hatch my own eggs just yet as I am new, and I don't want to kill them! My mom used to raise chickens when she was a teen so she at least knows how to raise chicks.
I was a tad surprised I never heard back from anyone as well?
Though after I posted this I met quite a few lovely people who were more then happy to talk to me!
I was hoping to be able to pick up, but shipping is alright to.

HI there, I live in Deerfield, Ma and I am raising show quality silkies, albeit just starting out. I bought all my birds from Bobbi Porto and George Mihalik. They are still young so I can't sell any this week, but keep me in mind if you are interested in silkies. Thanks and good luck!
