I have two of my Brahma cockerels that I held back that I thought might be helpfull to cochin breeders. From fairly early on a couple of these guys just always gave me a cochiny vibe, they did not have the upright stance, or length of leg of a Brahma. Obviously the comb is wrong, feather a little tight, but I think there is material to work with here. Twenty some years ago these birds started with Roland Doer silver laced cochin stock, with cornish, and Brahma blood added. If you are looking for some outcross blood that would probably put some size on your birds, you would have a hard time getting any outer than this.
