This girl is now 19 weeks old and was bought from the feed store as a barnevelder pullet. She's always seemed lacking in the color dept to me, but also has a smokey overlay on her yellow legs. You can definitely still see the yellow showing through it though. Could it be that she is mixed or simply a poorly bred pullet as far as the breed standard goes?

She looks like she's just poorly bred. Her coloring may be just taking longer to come in 100% as well.

I went back and counted on my calendar 4 times because I thought there was no way she was that old, but that what I came to. I brought her in this morning as her pen mate was lost last night. But no, she's not normally in the house lol. It's the leg color normal for a Barnie?

She’s a Barnie.
Is she unusually small?
