any thoughts

have a broody hen that is hatching eggs as we speak 2 have hatched 3 more in the process and 8 more left is it ok to bring the hatched chicks inside to stay warm under a heat lamp it is pretty cold in texas right now. will this make the broody hen leave her clutch. didnt move her from the rest of flock so also worried about the rest of them hurrting the babies. have moved the first 2 and she seems fine so far any thought or suggestions
 
Mama hens have been keeping chicks warm FAR longer than incubators and heat lamps have been around. Even in Alaska. Even in Iceland. If there is a mama, the babies are warm. Don't worry.
 
I would think she will fend off the rest of the flock with ease.

They do a wonderful job for the most part.
