Any tips for entertaining a bored invalid pea?

Well, Peggy has been cooped up for three days now, four more to go.
Very hard for a free ranging pea, I think.
This morning, he has started getting very restless, jumping up and down from his table "perch"; he reminds me of those big cats you see pacing at the zoo!
(I hope that this means he is starting to feel better!)
There is a french door in "his" room, so he has company of a sort (himself).
Does anyone have any suggestions about something I could give him to keep him occupied while he finishes his medication?

Thats normal you could put a hen wit him if he is use to her, but they will both pace like this, they are use to being free they don't understand boundaries once they are free.
mine go in the brooder pen when it is not in use so i shut them up sometimes and give them a treat in there cause i want them to be use to the pen because of their worming schedule they all start pacing like this.

Peas arn't like parrots that play with stuff to entertain themselves, at least they don't scream like a parrot.

Glad he is doing better he will be free soon got to finish those meds.

Mine are penned, not free range, and they'll play with some things. If I leave anything small in their pen, it's never where I left it, and I've caught them carrying around things to play keep away. You might try giving him a mirror, or if you have it laying around, a small tank with fish in it. When I add rosies to their kiddie pool, they come over to watch them swim around and when Blu had to be kept indoors after surgery, he would sit or stand by the button quail tank and watch them running around. You could try hanging treats for him as well- a few leaves of kale or lettuce strung up a foot or two off the ground so it swings when he tries to peck at it.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm going to give the hanging lettuce a try.
Luckily, this is his last full day of captivity, so he will be able to entertain himself soon.
