Currently, we have four grown hens. They are two barred rocks and two rhode island reds. In the spring, we are planning on getting four or five chicks. We were planning on getting a couple easter eggers and maybe some more rhode island reds. How should i plan on integrating the younger chicks once they are big enough with the older hens.

Best to keep them physically separate but visible (split coop/run) until chicks are of same size as hens, then remove barrier.

Lots of different scenarios! I've found it most helpful to search out other threads and read all the different approaches.
