Any updates on San Diego regulation changes??

I know at one time the City of San Diego was debating and discussing changing the regulation regarding backyard chickens.. I am specifically interested in seeing them change the "50 feet from other houses" stipulation to a more reasonable... maybe 20 ft... all the yards .. well, most of the yards in San Diego proper are small.. barely even have 50 feet..
