I have a goose that was given to me with pretty decent spraddle leg on one side. Can I splint the leg and use a rubber band between the legs on an 8 week old goose?

It's not likely to do much at that age, but it is worth a shot because the bird will not likely be able to survive long term with a defect like that. Geese get pretty sizable, and a spraddle leg probably won't support a full sized bird into adulthood. If the bird is destined for the dinner table, then I wouldn't bother, but if it is to be a pet/mascot then give it a go.

Let us know how it works out. Good luck.
