My bird, Holiday has basically been brooding for two months now.
She doesn't even have an egg to sit on but still spends her entire day in the coop siting in the nesting box.
We aren't really allowed to raise chickens in this subdivision (we wouldn't even have Holiday if she hadn't come to hide in our yard; battered and abused) so I can't go get her a fertilized egg to hatch.
We just want to find a way to break her out of the brooding cycle so that she can go back to enjoying her days playing in the yard.
Any advice?
