Hi there I am not sure this is the right place to ask this but figured i would try we have 16 pullets well 15 and one rooster LOL anyway our daughter really wants an easter egg layer not sure IF we could add another one to our flock with out any trouble?? I cant seem to find anywhere where we can just buy one or two females any help or info would be appreciated TY

you can get some at Ideal Poultry, I dont know where your located but Ideal does have free shipping in most places in TX.. Just make sure you pay extra (not much) for insurance unless you want a bunch of peanuts (mostly roos added to you shipment for warmth)..

As long as you do not add chicks to an adult flock, you will be fine. Purchase a point of lay or laying hen if you want to put it with yours immediately (N.B. make sure you quarantine for 3 weeks first unless you want to lose your flock) or if you get chicks, raise them separately until they are almost adult size before integrating them or your current chickens will kill them.
