I have 3 chicks that are now 7 weeks old. Mama is Black Australorp (but didn't lay any of the eggs) I have Australorp and BO hens and a BO rooster. 6 weeks before the eggs were layed i culled 2 SLW roos (they were mean).

1. Can you tell if they are pullet or roo?
2. What mix each one is?

I will have to crop first and then upload them all over again. I tried to crop and enlarge from photobucket, but I guess I don't know how to do it right.

Wood's Farm :

I'll take a wild guess!

#1 is a hen (BO/ Australorp)
#2 is a hen (SLW/ Australorp)
#3 is a hen (SLW/ Australorp)

I could be wrong, but these are my guesses!

I agree.

everyone seems to agree that they are hens. That makes me very happy.

I really thought I may have to use them for chicken and noodles.

I was really wondering if it was possible those could be part SLW. The part BO is really pretty, so I am glad everyone thinks its a hen.

6 weeks later and they could still be the dads.

I have separated my birds according to breed. I was planning to wait 4 weeks before trying to hatch because I had read is it 3 weeks that hens can retain this "rooster goo".

Now, I'll have to wait 8 weeks to just be sure.
