I have a chick that hatched sometime in the last hour, and by the time I got to checking the incubator this morning I found a bunch of yolk on the paper towel, and what looks like an empty yolk sac still attached. The best guess I have is the other 2 in with him stepped on the sack and it burst? I'm just wondering, other than separating it and giving it some time, is there any helping it? Obviously that precious yolk is all over the incubator instead of in it's belly, so I know it's a slim chance.

So, he survived the night, and is doing ok. I gave him some electrolytes, and it perked him up a fair bit. My next question is, if I give him a separate are in the brooder, will they other chicks be ok? He still has a bit of the dried sac stuck to him, so I am worried about him getting an infection and possibly spreading it?
