Anybody Else just LOVE their neighbors?

I really believe to have great neighbours, you need to be a great neighbour...with that said....

Our neighbours are not close, but we know them all and they all are good folks, mostly farmers and ranchers.

Just a few minutes ago one of them called and asked me if I would like him to set a roll of hay out for me....can't get much better then that!

My vet is right over the hill, and my pet sitter is right down the road....I have got it made!

Our neighbors are all pretty cool. One night we had a break in of our chicken run (stupid stray GSD and his two buddies...killed 6 pullets/cockerels and 8 hens!). It was 2:30 am and DH and I are outside with flash lights trying to keep the remaining flock safe and put the sufferers out of their misery. Our neighbor to the east ran outside asking if we needed help and volunteered extra flashlights. He also asked several times to make sure it wasn't his dogs that got out. (He keeps his dogs secure on his property...never a problem with his dogs!) How nice was that to come out at 2:30 to help and to make sure it wasn't his dogs! He and his fiance are really nice people (she'll be a great neighbor when she moves in after they get married). The other neighbors are all friendly as well. No complaints!
