I feel so bad about your last hatch.
I was paranoid about the high humidity thing. The humidity in my basement is usually in the mid 60s, so I tried to keep the humidity in the low 40s and it often was in the 30s (even dipped to the 20s) during the first 18. Then I was really torn when it came to the hatch days. I was scared of drowned chicks, but also shrink-wrapped chicks. During the hatch I tried to keep it 60-65, but it dropped to 55 quite a bit and spiked at 78 a couple of times when I added damp cloths. I hope these eggs go better for you.
