My 3 eggs are coming up on lockdown Thursday and while I'm going to try to get a humidity guage to put in there, I might forget or not get the time to get one since I've been very busy lately. So I was jsut wondering if anyone's hatched without one.

Also, I have to open the second vent plug. Should I add a bunch of wet wash cloths or something to increase the humidity too, since I have to increase teh venitliation AND humidity?

Depends on where you live I guess. I use notes up around my incubator so I can remember anything I need to do.
You can use rags , paper towels anything even socks and maxi pads to get your humidity up. I have used a combination of many things.

Good luck!

Thanks!

I'm hoping for pretty good results despite my small number on eggs.

I have! I live in SE Texas where we have a high humidity almost all year round though. I out of 3 of mine hatched without the humidity gage. I had temp issues on hatch day though so I think that's why my other 2 didn't hatch. I think my humidity was fine judging by the air sacks. I just filled my channels about 3/4 with water and kept a sponge wet throughout lockdown. I don't really reccomend just guessing but my humidity gage just happened to stop working on me. So it can be done but it's just going to be a gamble I think.
