Anybody ever use a honey bandage?

I have seen amazing results with honey on some frankly horrendous wounds where there wasn't enough skin to cover a wound. But thinking about it all my experiences have been with mammals; dogs, cats, and even rabbits. I can't recall ever using it on birds or reptiles.

I've seen where some here on BYC that have successfully used Raw Organic Honey on wounds and prolapsed tissue.
