Oh dang!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you get better!!!!!!!!! I came to the Clubhouse today because I’ll probably be trapped in the house all day tomorrow and Monday LOL but anyway, I’m okay. Except I screwed up big time also I keep dissociating. Recently learned that’s what I’m doing. But yeah. Cause I still feel like I’m in a (very bad) dream. And I also keep like staring off into space/daydreaming and thinking of my friend and/or bad stuff. And then I catch myself and snap back to reality. I did that this morning. I was just… staring at the wall. Till I realized. I learned some grounding techniques including some breathing exercises and stuff involving my senses yesterday so I’ve been trying to practice those and calm down/stay in reality and present moment but it’s hard.

I've done that before. Plenty of times matter of fact. I didn't know they had a name for it. I used to think I was just day dreaming. I guess its not the same huh?

Yep, for sure. I stopped by the barn on the way back to load some firewood on my sled and it was hard bending over. Had snow boots, ski bib pants, heavy (feels like 10 pounds) army surplus sherpa lined knee length coat that is my farm coat. Stocking cap, thermal shirt, heavy jeans and gloves on. I figure about 16-18 pounds of clothing.

Yeah, it’s common after trauma, etc. it’s a coping mechanism. Like WOW THAT WAS REALLY SHITTY! MAYBE IT WASNT REAL… I WISH.

How awful. I think something should of been done like a refund off the price you paid.

We probably would have walked away and not signed if we hadn't been in a hard time. It all worked out though we have a home with a beautiful property with time LORD willing we can fix it up and improve things.

We fell in love with our property the first time we saw it. The house not so much. Not all Amish are master builders and the one that built this house shouldn't have been given a hammer and handful of nails. We have been working on it for 16 years and have improved it a lot but still have a ways to go.

Look at it this way. God puts you where he wants you to be for a reason. You might not know that reason now but someday you will.

I am very very grateful for our home! Buying a house was just such a roller coaster..and all the hoops and stress was just ridiculous!
