Anybody ever use these leg bands before?

Has anyone had any experience with these? I really need to use something with numbers to keep my records and my babies straight, and these seemed great, but I cannot figure out how I would get them off without hurting the chick's leg. They are easy to close using a needle nose pliers, but once closed I cannot get them open again and they are quite small so they will outgrow them fairly soon. Is there some trick that I do not know about? Luckily I have not put any on any chicks yet!

I used bands similar to these but with numbers, i could put them direclty after i move them from the hatcher, and i could leave them on the peachicks for 4 months.

The ones i used them are much larger than these, and you will need to open the band more every month so it could fit the peachick leg while growing.

Could I ask where you got them with numbers on them?

I bought them here, i'm trying to find similar ones online but can't find any, i believe the store here imported them from Europe.
