im getting mine march 10th. my post office always calls around 6:30 -7 am when they arrive, and off i go, it only takes about 20 min. round trip, so then they will be home! i LOVE chick arrival day! its almost like christmas, except you know what youre presants are, sometimes!
im getting 5 rir, 10 buff orps, 6 light brahmas-my first time with lb, and some ancona ducks. can not wait for the ducks!
now hubby is talking about a cornish x project. and that sounds great to me, im trying to convince him of a hatchery suprise, im almost there, because he was talking about how possibly we could sell extras on craigs list, and then i could keep the ones i really like from the suprise........and also i was daydreamimng about mille fleur duccles, (can someone pronounce that for me?) so while we were in bed he was looking at them on the laptop. i kind of got a little excited ......but didnt let him know, i really enjoy our chicken projects here.......and i just have to gadually let him figure out for himself what a good idea my little projects are...and usually he comes around................when he doesnt its because really my ideas were not based in reality..........no, louisa we can not raise a semi-commercial heard dairy goats on the 1/8 of an acre of unused revine that we actually have left as unoccupied.
ill send pics when they get here.
