Mt. Healthy Hatchery

What breeds have you gotten? I'm so excited for babies! I got so many different kinds too that I've always wanted. I hope I can tell them apart, haha! And that they survive the rest of our trip and 17 hour drive home. 🤞
Oh mercy, I don't remember! Give me some time and I will see if I can find records.

I've only ordered from them once (well I've only ordered chickens once lol) but I was very happy with them and would 100% order from them in the future
Thanks! I can't wait. They've been super to work with so far, very helpful.

Chocolate Orpingtons, Barnevelders, Blue Australorp, Americanas, and a Buff Orpington and a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte. I wanted some uniquely colored and patterned chickens this year. :D
Those are fun breeds! I also got a barnevelder, buff Orpington, and I got a splash laced red Wyandotte instead of blue Laced just because I have a splash one from Meyer and love her to death. Excited to see how Mt. Healthy's compares.
Oh and some Americanas/EEs for a neighbor. I got an olive egger for myself just because I already have EEs. They're so fun though.

My neighbor recommended Mt Healthy, and last year we ordered a few from them. I split w my neighbor and got Barred Rock (plus an extra pullet), Olive Egger, Easter Egger, Splash Laced Wyandotte, Rare surprise (Bielefelder), Rhode Island Blue, Cinnamon Queen, and a Columbian Rock Cross. They are a great bunch and have integrated nicely! My Olive Egger lays a chocolate egg (but my neighbors from the same batch is green). I don’t mind because the 3 we hatched (1 feom a blue egg and 2 from brown eggs), all lay green eggs 😂 She looks like a Black Copper Marans with muffs and a beard! Lol The Cinnamon Queen surprisingly is my favorite (she is very nosy & friendly), with the Columbian a close second…she is a huge ball of fluff and very gentle/extremely timid & will not fight for roost space (there is PLENTY available), so she waits for me to lock up and pick her up and put her on the roost every night. Tonight she came into the chicken doorway when she heard me come outside, it was dark and it was almost like she was mad she had to wait! This batch is a hoot. I usually avoid hybrids but I’m not the only one who gets to pick out chicks in my house…and those two won me over. 😊

Wow, great to hear! Thank you! I'm excited about the Columbian cross. I decided I'm going to keep her (if I can tell her apart) and give neighbor one of my RIRs instead.
Do you have any photos of yours or any of your other chicks from them?
I'd especially love to see the Barred rocks, olive egger, Wyandotte, bielefelder, and the Columbian cross. I got one of each of those breeds. Only 9 more days until they hatch!
