I thought I had barnevelders last year that turned out to be leghorns
That is quite the letdown.
Don't think 5 is a Bielefelder.Does anyone see Bielefelder for chick #5? I posted this on Facebook also and someone over there feels strongly that’s a Bielefelder.![]()
Bielefelders are supposed to have white barring and yellow legs.Does anyone see Bielefelder for chick #5? I posted this on Facebook also and someone over there feels strongly that’s a Bielefelder.![]()
I wish that person was right, I would love to have a Bielefelder...but I don't think it is either. I really think it's a Meyer OE.Don't think 5 is a Bielefelder.
OE would be my best guess too. Someone on the FB post said possible Swedish Flower? Her legs maybe have the slightest green tint... not so much as #5 though!#1 does look like a Bielefelder, but there is a greenish tinge to the legs. Wondering if it could be a Legbar/Welsummer cross olive egger?
