Anybody hatching on Jan 9th?

Learned a lot today:
Hatching on wire. Make sure the edges are snug to the ends of the incubator and smooth. 13 chicks.

Fix hoses and anchor them down.

Silkietime, mind sharing where you got the eggs? What color are the first two silkies? I love that!

I've got seven bouncing babies in the bator. Three more working their way out. I still haven't taken any out yet. I'm dying to hold them!

I got 17 hatched so far

4 left in bator
1 olive egg just hatched
2 split lav silkies-which I think just quit:-(
and a big green EE egg which is pipping now

3 died after pipping-They had been like that since am and While I was removing chicks I grabbed and egg and opened it a little and it was dead--tick me off it was a split lav silkie egg too!!! Im not good at hatching silkies for some reason-everyone else is good at hatching my silkies but not me

my next batch goes in 14th with hinkjc's White and buff orpingtons with some special surprise eggs too ( orpingtons)
and aHappchicks dozen of pure eggs mixed special 4 different kinds-I hope to pieces I get at least one roo and 1 pullet from each pure set!!!
Ill throw in a few more of my own-so far I have 2 more split lav silkie eggs and thats it! I ve sold all eggs for the next 2 weeks:-( I cant even incubate anymore of my polish ahaha theier sold too...hmmm I have to stop doing that dang it!

We've got cuteness overload...babies galore here. I have 3 pips now. 1 blue americana, 2 blue marans. The americana is the most recent pip and it is making progress ..it wants out now! lol. The other two just made outer pips and the membrane is still around them. I don't hear anything else from them I guess they are resting.

OMG I got one..yeah! He is a blue marans and looks blueish. He came out of the biggest egg and is huge. There is an ameracauna egg half zipped now yeah! 2 more pipped
