Anybody in Indiana?

All I have is 2 leghorn cockrals that hatched on 1/1/09. If my friend doesn't take them they need a home.

We are in Brazil not to far from you in Bloomington. My son and his girlfrind moved there and are going to college there. I have 3 pure hens and 1 mixed hen, (she doesn't have the green legs but does lay the greenish eggs. I will be seperating them when it warms up. Right now I have all the big breeds together for warmth in one pen, I let them free range during the day and they all go into the same pen to roost at night and I lock them up together. The girls are laying somewhat right now, am getting 2-3 eggs from them a day. The barnyard mixes and the Barred rocks are laying everyday as so are the Egyptian and the Turken. If you are interested let me know and when I seperate them I can contact you as I will be selling all my eggs and chicks and just keeping my breeding stock.

I didn't even check on the chicken ordinances when I got mine. Well, I did but they were very vague. And besides, Beech Grove is mostly a rental community, so none of the neighbors stick around long enough to complain, anyway. Unfortunately, we bought 4 pullets from a farmer in Newcastle, IN and they all started crowing about a month or two later. So that was a fiasco and we re-homed two of them. So we are down to 2 roosters and two hens and looking to re-home one of the roos.
Also, we are looking to pick up a couple more hens soon. Preferably real pullets this time, if anyone close has any. Now that I have logged in about 100 hours of reading the BYC forum, I don't think I'll be duped again! At least I hope not.

I might be getting more eggs of some different breeds including Sumatras,Sebrights, banty cochins and SF, also SSH, Spitz and some others I can't think of right off hand. If i get to many pullet maybe you would want some?

I have a white bantam Araucana trio for sale $150. I am not shipping them, sorry! 1. pullet is rumpless and double tufted 2. pullet is clean faced and rumpless 3. Rooster is clean faced rumpless with 1 tail feather.
