anybody in lockdown?

SC here..still no hatch but I can tell they are hard at work. I ran mine with water in the whole time and didn't have an issue? What's your weather like? We have been unusually warm weather. Wonder if that is a factor. Did you buy your eggs or do you adult ducks?

How many pips do you have? Nothing but silence from my bator, but when I candle them you can see a lot of activity. I checked the humidity level here, and it's been in the 50s. I am sure it was higher last night because we had storms late. It's been warm here too. I figure either I had the humidity too high or the temp too low. High humidity will cause them to lose weight slower. Temp too low will cause them to develop slower?? I got the eggs from a friend of mine. I started with 7. Those two never developed. Fingers crossed on these 5 now. I bet you are excited with all the activity in your bator. Where did you get yours?

I have two males and two females so I get mine every morning . They are still working hard to get through the shell. They are killing me. I can hardly stand it. I am not a very patient person to start with. I guess I am going to burn the midnight oil. I don't want to miss anything.

Where do you have your bator? I keep ours in the bedroom because its the only room in the house that has a stable temp.

I keep mine in my dinning room. That way it is away from any windows and drafts. I hope you can put up so photos when they do hatch!! I'm excited for you.

Update on the hatching only four have piped. Two are making more progress than the other two. Still have six more to go. They are rock n rolling but no pip.

I am having trouble inserting pic here but I change my profile pic . I think I will name it tink tink! Yours will be here soon then. Mine started wobbling serveral days before lockdown. Yippee !
