anybody know of a hatchery that sells started pullets

i am having a very hard time hinding the birds i want .. i am looking for 4-5 rir, 2 wyandottes and maybe 1 barnevelder who sell these birds as pullet and can ship ..... thanks

I think several hatcheries do. I believe Moyers chicks does, and others. Shipping will be expensive though. Where are you located, that might help.

I haven't heard of any hatchery that sells started pullets. They specialize in shipping day-old chicks only. You need to try to find local breeders for bigger birds, or maybe look up the websites for the breeds you want...I think there are "clubs" for most breeds.

ETA: OK, after doing a google search, it looks like a few hatcheries do ship started pullets (Meyer, Murray McMurray) but the shipping cost is huge and there are only a few breeds available. What breeds do you want? Maybe someone here has extra pullets they can sell to you. You can post in the Buy-Sell-Trade section.

Ideal hatchery will sell you sexed chicks so the shipping is still cheep and you get girls anyway just thoguht I'd share good luck

I may have misunderstood, your title says started pullets, but are you just looking for chicks?
