Anybody know what this is??

The chick in the middle of this picture has got me baffled... I got her from Rural King and the bin she was in said "Ameraucana." I'm just not so sure? When I pick her up, she's very thick and meaty and it's not anything like any of my other egg layers. I can try to get you a better picture if you need it but I'm at a loss here...

Does this look like an Ameraucana?

Dang! What am I supposed to do with that... I've never harvested a chicken before. She wont lay, right?

If that is a Cornish cross it probably won't lay. But I'd definitely wait it out to make sure we are correct.

Type 'Cornish rock cross lay eggs' in the search bar at the top of the page. Some folks have success in maintaining them for laying, but eventually their genetics catches up to them.

Yeah, I mean I'm sure it'd lay but it would not be efficient at all.
