I am darned sure it was PC. I sent her a PM, my son said he would do it too. Now this is what she needs is some support from fellow chickners.

No, that wasn't me. I did the hummingNifty.

Oh yes you did. That was FUNNY!

Just pm me when you have them. I'd take Racuda up on her offer too. Sounds like she's a lot more experienced than I am. We'll both do it and you can use whichever pic comes out better. Don't worry. My feelings won't be hurt when you choose hers.

What version are you using and are you Mac or PC?

I'm using V7 for PC. It's an education version from Yale so it was a good deal. I haven't used PS professionally since the 90's on my PowerMacs.

I use CS4 on a Mac.

Actually, combining images is something I do a lot. Mostly furniture. Once a company only had one chair and a large dining table. We shot the chair 8 times and I combined all of the shots. It's fun.

Can you make me a new living room set?

My art director buddy got me into it when he watched me trying to lay out a catalog on a PC in 94. He brought me home a MacIIFX from his office when they upgraded. I'd sit and watch him work his magic and learned a little PS, Illustrator, and Quark. (Very little) I did lots of small catalogs for various distributors I worked for and a few trade magazine ads too. People would compliment me on them like they do here, not realizing I have almost no idea what I'm doing.

Make a seperate photo of each group including the backdrop. Photo your cats, dog, chickens with a green sheet and strong lighting to avoid shadows. Using gimp or photo filtre isolate the green in the background and change it to transparency. After that simply paste your individual items on your backdrop, you will not need a tripod with this method.

What a good idea! For layer stuff, I use my other image improvement program so I never knew that!
