She is beautiful! I hope they hatch for you, then Winnie will really be the hero of the day. How amazing that she stepped in to take over for her flock mate. I can't wait to hear what happens!!![]()
Thank you! She is beautiful, and a wonderful broody. But, unfortunately, not good enough to save Daisy's poorly cared for clutch. I candled again and most of them didn't make it past a week or two.

Wooo Hooothe one in my incubator has hatched, i woke up to go pee at 3:30am and heard a lot of loud chirping, when I checked it out we had a little chicky. The boody in the coop still has no peeps yet and I am worried about her cause this is day 22 now
I hope they hatch for her but if they dont I guess I could slip this one and a few Blrw's Im getting from a friend tomorrow. I really want her to hatch some of her own though. how long should I leave the little guy in the incubator? I have a brooder set up and I was thinking about putting it in there today, is that okay?![]()
When did he hatch, exactly? He can live in the incubator (without food or water) for up to 2 days... But I usually just take chicks out once a day (however many there are, as long as they are fluffy).
